The UNIC Certification Procedure requires certain preparation as the goal is to prove the high level of business integrity. One of the benefits of UNIC membership is an opportunity to receive recommendations on readiness to pass Certification.

New UNIC certification initiative aims to incentivize greater integrity among members of the Ukrainian business community.

In September, Julia Kahlenberg, partner at Pohlmann & Company, joined III International Compliance Forum of Yuridicheskaya Practika. For this purposes Julia prepared an article on: "Effective compliance programme implementation helps identify and prevent risks of law violation."

On 28 September 2018, UNIC has officially signed the Memorandum on Partnership with the Ukrainian CCI.

As of August 2018, the UNIC Secretariat, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine, has been implementing the project "Strengthening the Principles of Integrity in the Interaction between the State and Business" aiming to establish effective cooperation between government authorities and business.

A series of regional seminars “Business Integrity: Join, Implement and Win” is organized by the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance and the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine with the support of the Business Ombudsman Council and the National Agency of Corruption Prevention. In September 2018 UNIC presented its operations and practices of implementing compliance systems in other three regions of Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Chernihiv.

Anticipating the III International Compliance Forum of Yuridicheskaya Practika Publishing House we have asked some of UNIC members and partners about the certification of compliance, which went out this summer: What is the legal role in implementing compliance practices and whar are the new business development opportunities offered by the certification? 

On 24 September 2018 a call for submission of expressions of interest from candidates for Document Templates Specialist at UNIC has been made.
