On 5 February 2019, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine will hold an event: Integrity in Business. Representatives of Dutch businesses operating in the Ukrainian market are invited to participate.

On 14 December 2018, Arcelor Mittal held the business forum "Compliance 2018: analysis of the latest trends and best practices", conducted with the support of UNIC. The forum gathered about 100 compliance officers of the company. The discussion was dedicated to the recent legislative changes in Ukraine and in the EU, to sharing experience and best practices. Moreover, the forum was also organized for students – young generation of future compliance managers.

Many of the UNIC Members do not have such document in business use. Therefore, we would like to provide our members with the template of the Code. We also suggest 11 recommendations to make implementation of the document easy and essential developed by Ario Dehghani, Counsel and Head of Compliance at Redcliffe Partners, one of the Code’s authors.

This year, UNIC has conducted its first survey among public representatives "Business Integrity: Achievements and Opportunities" within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Principles of Integrity in the Interaction between the State and Business" implemented with the support of UNDP Ukraine and the Kingdom of Denmark.

Scarlet Wannenwetsch, Project Associate Anti-Corruption Collective Action, discussed the role of compliance certification in anti-corruption Collective Action, as well as the recently launched UNIC certification procedure in Ukraine as an example of such initiatives.
