The Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance survey stated that more than 66% of Ukrainians are willing to pay with a wallet (10-20% more) for respectable companies goods, meaning the company with a good reputation.

Together with leading Ukrainian and international practitioners, UNIC discussed the topic “Identifying and resolving conflicts of interest: international standards/implementation in Ukraine”.

The Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance has initiated a number of discussion platforms where lawyers, entrepreneurs, and international experts could share best practices and ideas for strengthening compliance in Ukraine.

Integrity, decency, reliability is now easily verified due to the digitalization of relationships between counterparties. Especially when there is an integrated third-party cheque in the compliance process.

Interaction with third-parties is an essential part of any company's business, but at the same time, it is one of the potential sources of risk.

Implementation of professional ethics in private business

It is hard to imagine the promising future of any country or a business with shadow wages, tax evasion, or manifestations of corruption in the workplace. Therefore, today the Network, together with the State Labor Service of Ukraine, has taken a significant step, which results in signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.

In 2018-2020, the UNIC Secretariat, with the involvement of external experts, as well as members of the expert group and the Ethics Committee, prepared 13 (thirteen) document templates for use by the UNIC members.
