We are happy to welcome a new member of the UNIC network - The Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine!

We are pleased to welcome among the members of our Network an organization that directs efforts towards the formation of civilized competitive conditions in the markets of milk and milk products, first of all - the elimination of unfair competition and falsified products in the domestic market," comments Antonina Prudko, Head of the Network's Secretariat.

"We have been closely following the activities of UNIC and thank you for the honour and trust to join its members and become an integral part of the Network. In the activity of our Association, the issues of transparent business conduct, fair competition and combating corruption are among the key ones. Therefore, we are convinced that with the support of the UNIC team, compliance will become a reputational business card of the dairy industry of Ukraine," said Deputy Executive Director of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine Dmytro Strykhovskyi.

The Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine was established in 2001. The members of the Union are more than 45 business objects: milk processing enterprises and companies with foreign and domestic capital, equipment manufacturers, packaging, ingredients for the dairy industry, etc. The combined share of business entities members of the Union exceeds 75% of the total volume of milk products officially produced by domestic milk processing enterprises.

The key task of Union members is to prevent threats to the food security of the country in terms of providing dairy products, to solve the existing problems of the development of the dairy industry in Ukraine, to protect the interests of participants in relations with state management bodies and local authorities, to participate in the development and implementation of program documents on the development of the dairy industry, developing proposals for improving the regulatory framework, etc.
