Official appeal to the participants and partners of the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) for cooperation with Russian companies

For the fifth day in a row, the army of the Russian Federation continues a full-scale bloody war and genocide of the Ukrainian people on the territory of peaceful Ukraine. In violation of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, the Russian military uses women and children as human shields and blackmails Ukraine as well as the world with Chernobyl nuclear power plant captured. They are destroying social infrastructure, facilities leading to man-made disasters, killing families, shooting children and civilians.

Under these circumstances, the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC), urge the participants of the Network:

# to immediately terminate cooperation and any communication with Russian business;

# to boycott events organized by Russian institutions or businesses, as well as international foundations;

# do not invite experts-speakers from Russia, who are silent and openly condemn the Russian war against Ukraine, do not speak publicly and directly against it;

# to initiate the exclusion of representatives associated with the Russian Federation or Russian capital from the supervisory and advisory boards of your companies.

We appeal to the Ukrainian representative offices of international companies - contact the general management of your international corporations and companies with a request to close the representative offices in the Russian Federation and terminate any business relations with the Russians.

Working in the Russian Federation, you support the financing of the war in Ukraine and the genocide of the Ukrainian nation.

The UNIC network is an initiative of collective action of honest and ethical companies, where respect for human rights and freedoms, freedom and preservation of social well-being of people is of the highest value. We urge the participants and partners of the Network to demonstrate their responsible position and resolutely oppose Russian aggression in Ukraine.

We believe in the Ukrainian army! We support the Ukrainian Government and each other! We will win!

The Ukrainian nation will win and rebuild prosperous and powerful Ukraine!
