Meeting within the Memorandum on cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland
Within the Memorandum on cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian Business in Poland, we met the Association’s members with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Poland Vasyl Zvarych, and Business Ombudsman Roman Waschuk.
During the meeting, the Head of the UNIC Secretariat presented the UNIC activities and told about new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses that have relocated to Poland, in particular, about the grant program that UNIC is launching to support the integrity culture promotion and effective compliance systems development for small and medium Ukrainian business. That will help SMEs in preparing for entering the European market, receiving investment or grant support from international institutions, and searching for new counterparties in Europe.
The best global practices implementation in anti-corruption compliance for Ukrainian companies will enable the introduction of equal competitive conditions for market participants, regardless of whether they are part of global companies or local players. This, in turn, will prepare Ukrainian companies to enter international markets. And this will allow to increase the trust level in Ukrainian companies and make Ukraine more attractive for investments and will enable reducing the corruption level in Ukraine.
We are grateful to Vasyl Zvarych, Ombudsman Roman Waschuk, Yaroslav Romanchuk, and the Association’s members for the meeting and for all the efforts that we are making together for the victory of Ukraine.
