Event: “Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector: Challenges or New Opportunities? Is Now the Right Time to Invest in Compliance?”
We invite you to the event “Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector: Challenges or New Opportunities? Is Now the Right Time to Invest in Compliance?”, which will take place on 4 June in Kyiv as part of UNIC’s Business Integrity Month, with the support of our hosting partner KPMG Ukraine and our industry partner Continental Farmers Group.
The event will take the form of a case study and will involve a small group of participants discussing practical approaches and real-life case studies from the agricultural sector.
The discussion will focus on:
• Traceability as a passport to global markets: how compliance in agribusiness is changing access to the EU market.
• How to work effectively on launching new initiatives. Verifying farmers. Engaging with the external environment.
• Preparing for ISO certification: is it worth starting now?
The event will be moderated by Olena Makarenko, Partner, Risk Management and ESG Advisory Services, KPMG in Ukraine.
Case studies will be presented by Nibulon, BASF and CFG. We are planning a fruitful discussion amongst professionals behind closed doors. In addition to sharing experiences, we would also like to identify key areas for further planning of collective action and the network’s work. We look forward to welcoming not only network members but also all interested experts in the field of compliance within the agricultural sector.
