UNIC announces a call for applications from candidates for membership of the Ethics Committee

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications from individuals interested in becoming members of the UNIC Ethics Committee.

Towards the end of October, the term of office for the current members of the  Ethics Committee will conclude. As a result, we are opening up 7 (seven) positions within the Committee:

  • Four positions will be filled by representatives from companies participating in the Network. 
  • Three positions will be occupied by external experts from international and national non-governmental organizations.

If you are interested in applying, kindly send an email application to the Network Secretariat. The application should include the following attachments:

- The candidate's resume, which should provide information about the candidate's substantial experience in the field of corruption prevention and/or combat.

A brief motivational letter, explaining the purpose of your application and potential plans for contributing to UNIC's initiatives in the realm of enhancing integrity levels and combating corruption in Ukraine. 

Candidates who demonstrate an impeccable business reputation, possess high professional and moral qualities, and hold public authority will be considered for membership in the Committee. Given the Committee's responsibilities, experience in conducting reputational due diligence checks of legal entities and examining compliance documents will be advantageous. 

Applications will be accepted until the end of the working day on October 23 via email to info@unic.org.ua. Please include "Application for the position of a member of the  Ethics Committee" in the subject of your email. The winners will be selected by the UNIC Executive Committee.

For your reference:

  • The term of office for a Committee member is two years.
  • Committee members serve on a voluntary and unpaid basis.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and proposing integrity standards for Network members (such as policies, rules, procedures, and other documents), evaluating candidates for UNIC membership, and other functions as defined by the UNIC Partnership Memorandum.
