In brief. Open data is the basis of anti-corruption and transparent work of the government and local authorities. Access to public data has been closed since the start of the full-scale russian invasion for security reasons, but analysis shows that not all data needs to be hidden. This policy has significantly impaired the work of government agencies and local governments, and citizens and businesses have lost prompt access to data of significant public interest. In addition, access to public data will be especially critical in the process of rebuilding Ukraine and attracting foreign investment for recovery, so this issue needs to be discussed now.
