We commence this year by presenting UNIC's official position on the operations of the pharmaceutical sector in Ukraine. We anticipate that this will begin an extensive advocacy campaign among business associations and private companies, instigated by the UNIC Expert Group on Pharmaceuticals. This expert group operates under the Network, bringing together representatives from leading companies in the pharmaceutical sector and law firms with healthcare practices. We encourage representatives of pharmaceutical companies to align themselves with this position, extend their support, and actively disseminate it.

On December 18, the OECD supported a UNIC seminar for state-owned enterprises on “How the OECD anti-bribery standards and instruments will help support doing business honestly in Ukraine”.

On December 15, with the support of the OECD, a UNIC workshop was held on the topic "How OECD anti-bribery standards and instruments will help support doing business honestly in Ukraine ."

The head of the UNIC Secretariat, Antonina Prudko, addressed the meeting of the Integrity Group from the Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Eurasia of the OECD in Paris. She shared insights into the significant benefits of collaboration through collective action initiatives with various stakeholders, using the All-Ukrainian Integrity and Compliance Network as a prime example.

In October-November 2023, UNIC conducted a series of regional business events on the theme "Transparent business and the reconstruction of Ukraine: are there chances for scaling during the war," held in Lviv, Lutsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk. The events were implemented with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan.

In 2023, the initiative "Spreading the Culture of Integrity and Compliance Standards among Ukrainian SMEs" by the All-Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) emerged victorious at the national level in category 4, "Improving the Business Environment and Supporting the Internationalization of Business," at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards. This competition, organized by the European Commission, also acknowledged UNIC's efforts on the European stage.
