Scaling during wartime: Regional Workshops for Business

UNIC, in partnership with the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, the national project Diia.Business and Prozorro.Sale is launching a series of free regional events for national medium businesses:  "Are there any chances for scaling Ukrainian business during wartime?"

The local regional business was the most affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Despite everything, business continues to work to support the country's economy. Understanding today's challenges, UNIC, with the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, the national project Diia.Business and Prozorro.Sale will share particular examples and discuss opportunities to help businesses stay afloat in these difficult conditions.

So, during the event, you will be able to learn the following:

• About the export opportunities of the national project Diia.Business, the main requirements for Ukrainian companies to develop new markets from the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office

• Using the example of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, we will discuss what financial opportunities entrepreneurs can take advantage of right now

• Prozorro.Sale will discuss their system functionality and how it is possible to expand regional business through state auctions

A separate part of the event will be devoted to the integrity issues impact and company reputation on the realization of such opportunities. You will learn why the issue of business reputation today can become a guarantee for opening new financing sources and scaling the business. Business representatives will explain how the compliance systems implementation affects the minimization of fraud and corruption risks in their activities.

Why will businesses be interested in visiting our regional events?

This event will interest regional medium businesses that work in the real sector and are searching for opportunities and resources to expand their company. Entrepreneurs will learn about business opportunities first-hand from leading experts and practitioners and will be able to ask questions that interest them.

The first event in the series will take place on November 25 at 11:00 a.m. in Kyiv (offline). Representatives of medium Ukrainian businesses in Kyiv and the Kyiv region are invited to participate.
