Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is an international organization uniting 34 countries of the world. 70 countries have the status of OECD partners, taking part in many spheres of its activities. OECD is among the top three world economic institutions, along with the IMF and the World Bank. The OECD also actively cooperates with non-member countries (in particular with Ukraine) within the framework of specialized programs, international events, etc.
From the very beginning of the OECD, its activities are aimed at strengthening and improving the efficiency of the economies of the member states, improving socio-economic conditions and employment situation, ensuring economic growth of both industrialized and developing countries.
On 19 May 2017, the BOC, with the support of the EBRD and the OECD presented the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC), a new initiative for businesses that want to work transparently.
