The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP)
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is a central executive body with a special status.
The NACP is responsible for the development of anti-corruption policy and prevention of corruption, established in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption".
Work areas:
-formulation of anti-corruption policy, analysis of the situation with corruption in Ukraine and development of the relevant Anti-Corruption Strategy and the state program for its implementation, as well as coordination of the implementation of these documents by the authorities
-anti-corruption expertise of legislation and draft acts, research of corruption risks;
-financial control of public servants: control and verification of declarations, lifestyle monitoring, prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest;
-control over the use of taxpayer funds by political parties;
-coordination of anti-corruption commissioners;
-cooperation with corruption whistleblowers, providing them with legal and other protection, etc.
