We invite Ukrainian business to take an important social project under its wing
In the first 50 days of the war, more than 4.5 million Ukrainians crossed the border, at least 2.3 million of whom are in Poland. Most of them are children under the age of 18 (it is estimated that about 65% of the total number of refugees in the country).
Massive bombings and shooting by Russian forces of Ukrainian cities and villages damaged 957 educational institutions, 88 of which were completely destroyed. This indicates that Ukrainian children will not be able to return to school for a long time. Therefore, at the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance Victoria Gnap and Larysa Zhyhun, a project of Ukrainian schools in Poland was launched, which provides the child with his basic right to education.
The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as Polish educational institutions. Schools operate in accordance with the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education of Ukraine in cooperation with the International Ukrainian School.
Already today, the project provides online education for almost 600 children in Krakow and Wroclaw, and offline education has already started in Warsaw at the Polish school I Społeczne Liceum Ogólnokształcące "Bednarska". 57 forcibly displaced teachers were involved in the work.
The project needs financial and material support so that children can continue their education in a familiar environment.
