UNIC Held an Educational Meeting on Compliance Basics

On February 8, 2018, UNIC held an educational meeting on building up compliance basics and peculiarities of its maintenance in relations with government authorities. The event took place with the support of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).
Andrii Kavchuk, a partner of Bachinskyi, Kolomiets and Partners Attorneys at Law, shared what challenges businesses face in the process of introducing compliance. Andrew also emphasized on competitive advantages of ethical behavior for companies.
Serhii Lukin, Executive Director at Business Gathering spoke about an anti-corruption compliance in relations with government authorities. He gave practical examples of peculiarities in applying compliance policies by businesses in Ukraine and abroad.
Ganna Gerasymchuk, Head of the UNIC Secretariat, noted: " By sharing ideas of business integrity and responsibility, we, by our own example, strive to encourage others to take decisive steps, as well as help see the benefits for those who still hesitate."
