On March 22, 2018, UNIC held an educational meet up on “Employees involvement to the compliance culture”. The event was conducted with the support of Head Hunter and Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.
HR Director of Ukrtelecom - Tetyana Petruk, emphasized that part of the corporate culture values is ethics. Through faith and trust, the practical use of business ethics rules is effective and successful in practice.
Larisa Onypko, Head of the HR-brand Ukraine Award, HeadHunter Ukraine, showed HR's and compliance interaction and stressed that the rules of business conduct for employees are not only a regulatory tool but the opportunity to implement real changes and raise the corporate spirit of the company and employees’ faith in their participation in these changes. All guests were able to work in groups on realistic compliance cases to minimize risks and preventative measures.
Leonid Gilevich, Lawyer of Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, said: "The importance of the event is that lawyers, HR specialists, managers and compliant specialists together discussed issues and problems of compliance in Ukraine”.
In the course of numerous live discussions, participants have been able to hear many valuable recommendations and examples from practical experience and get answers to the questions raised.
It is very important that the seminar included not only theory but also practice, as the organizers distributed the participants into groups and offered to simulate a number of possible situations related to violations of the rules of compliance and to find solutions.
