UNIC Members participates in international seminar “Building business integrity and compliance across the region”.

We are proud of UNIC Members LLC “Aisberg” LTD and FE "ORGANIC SYSTEMS" who participated in an international seminar which took place in Tbilisi (Georgia) on March 13-14, 2018 on the topic “Building business integrity and compliance across the region” hosted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and OECD with support from UNDP

This is the first time Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance was presented at the international level by the Chairman of the Executive Committee Ivan Sakal, who based on the FE "ORGANIK SYSTEMTIS" company example presented the importance and benefits of respecting the standards of integrity and presented UNIC. 

UNIC Secretariat received feedbacks on Ivan Sakal' speech at an international business seminar. We hope with personal example to inspire Ukrainian business for strong collective action and increasing attention to the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance.

International speakers from EBRD, OECD, UNDP, from the Government of Georgia and the Government of Estonia, European Business Associations and other institutions provided an overview of the challenges facing SMEs in the region and shared international expertise in promoting business integrity and compliance.

Representatives from the public and private sectors from 7 countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Turkey visited seminar and received practical advice on conducting risk assessments for SMEs; developing effective compliance programmes; and ways to effectively counter business integrity risks.
