A series of regional seminars "Business Integrity: Join, Implement and Win" is organized by the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance and the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine with the support of the Business Ombudsman Council and the National Agency of Corruption Prevention. During July-August 2018 five seminars were held in the biggest cities in Ukraine excluding Kyiv: Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Vinnytsia and Dnipro.

We are pleased to invite you to the Regional Seminars, organized by UNDP Ukraineand Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance under support of Business Ombudsman Council and National Agency on Corruption Prevention. The seminars are aimed at promoting business integrity among state-owned and private enterprises and present best practices of implementing anti-corruption compliance among businesses.

An informative event dedicated to compliance certification organised by Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance and Arzinger.

Ganna Gerasymchuk, Head of UNIC Secretariat, discussed compliance in Ukraine and the role of UNIC in its promotion to Ukrainsky Yuryst (Ukrainian Lawyer magazine).

Tetiana Kheruvimova, Inspector at Business Ombudsman Council, shares her insights on certification procedure, its benefits and opportunities for business in Ukraine, and comments on the importance of the shift from NAME&SHAME to NAME&PRAISE for public and private sector companies.

We are glad to inform you that according to the results of the proposals’ evaluation by UNIC Executive Committee the following independent experts for the UNIC Certification were approved.

More than 100 participants attended First UNIC Members' Annual Meeting, which was organized under support of and in cooperation with such partners and colleagues as Business Ombudsman Council, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, UNDP in Ukraine, Organic Systems, Sanofi, Redcliffe Partners, Basel Institute, Pohlmann & Company and Siemens Ukraine.

In the course of the meeting, the UNIC will present its Annual Report. The Executive Committee and the Ethics Committee will report the results of their activity. The Expert Group will introduce its operations and will share results of its work on developing Legal Risk Assessment tool for members.  In the framework of the event, the voting for the approval of the UNIC Annual Report, Ethical Standards, amendments to the Memorandum on Partnership and to the UNIC annual budget will be conducted. The UNIC will also elect a new member of the Executive Committee. During the Experts Panel section, the Certification of business integrity of the UNIC Members, in particular, its benefits and challenges will be discussed.
