On July 16, the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC), together with the Business Ombudsman Council, held the final event of the Month of Business Integrity — a roundtable discussion titled “Compliance and Tax & Customs Regulation: The Path to Trust and Transparency.”

The discussion brought together representatives of the State Tax Service, the State Customs Service, business leaders, and experts to address key issues, including:
– fairness in tax audits;
– the level of trust between business and government;
– the “High Tax Trust Territory” initiative and the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program;
– the practical importance of integrity in business.

The dialogue demonstrated that both government and business equally need predictable, transparent, and fair relations. Integrity should become the foundation of cooperation, while compliance must serve as a sustainable business instrument, enabling companies to operate confidently and reliably, even in times of war.

The event concluded Integrity Growth 2025, the seventh annual Month of Business Integrity organized by UNIC.

The roundtable was implemented with the financial support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) — the leading anti-corruption program in Ukraine, funded by the European Union and co-funded and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
