European Pro Bono Summit
On 26 September 2019, Kyiv will host the European Pro Bono Summit. The Summit is organized by Pro Bono Club Ukraine and the Global Pro Bono Network. UNIC is an informational partner of the Summit.
The Summit gathers pro bono and skills-based volunteering experts, corporate and non-profit sector representatives from all over the world. It features Ukrainian and foreign experts, including Joerg Bauer, Tungsram Group Chairman, and Anna Lewis, Managing Partner at Bright Leadership Ltd.
Speakers will share their experience on:
- What corporate volunteering is, and what its best formats are
- What business gets via sharing
- How to integrate pro bono activities into a business model
- How to develop employees and innovate through pro bono programs and intellectual volunteering
- How corporate social responsibility (CSR) enhances and develops business.
The Summit unites participants from Belgium, Hungary, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Norway, and other European countries. Companies’ representatives will have an opportunity to meet civic organizations in a format of speed-dating. Additionally, the event includes presentation of the results of the first implemented CSR market research in Ukraine.
The Summit invites for participation:
- CSR managers and directors to learn about new business practices
- HR managers to develop employees
- PR managers to strengthen business brand through social responsibility at low costs
- Business owners to implement social responsibility programs or improve existing ones.
