Decorruption of Ukraine, Transparency International

On 9-11 December 2013, the United Nations Convention against Corruption was signed in Merida, Mexico, during the high-level political conference. Since then, the 9th of December is celebrated as an International AntiCorruption Day upon the UN initiative.

Last Friday, the UNIC was glad to join the event "Decorruption of Ukraine", organised by Transparency International Ukraine and dedicated to the reforms and changes made in the anticorruption sector of Ukraine for the last 5 years.

It was a special pleasure to be among such speakers: Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Andrii Borovyk, (Transparency International Ukraine), Artem Sytnyk (National AntiCorruption Bureau of Ukraine), Algirdas Gediminas Šemeta (Business Ombudsman Council - Ukraine), Maksym Nefyodov (Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine) and many others.
