On May 11 at 11:00 a.m., the UNIC Annual General Meeting will be held dedicated to "Reconstruction based on integrity: the road to a new Ukraine"

Dear friends! On May 11 at 11:00 a.m., the UNIC Annual General Meeting will be held dedicated to "Reconstruction based on integrity: the road to a new Ukraine,” where a wide range of experts will discuss the extremely important topic of Ukraine's integration into the world's leading economic communities, in particular, joining the OECD.

 

As part of this topic, a panel discussion "Acceding to OECD Anti-bribery Convention – what it means for business," will be moderated by Lana Sinichkina, Partner at Arzinger, UNIC Executive Committee member.

 

In particular, the following issues will be discussed:

• What does Ukraine's application to join the OECD and its recently acquired Participant status at the OECD Working Group on Bribery means?
• How is the state preparing for Ukraine's accession to the OECD Working Group on Bribery?
• What will accession to the Convention mean for Ukrainian business, and what new requirements will it bring? How can businesses prepare for the introduction of these OECD standards?
• The example of European countries: the changes that business has gone through in preparation for the country's accession to the OECD?
