In October-November 2023, UNIC conducted a series of regional business events on the theme "Transparent business and the reconstruction of Ukraine: are there chances for scaling during the war," held in Lviv, Lutsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk. The events were implemented with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan.

In 2023, the initiative "Spreading the Culture of Integrity and Compliance Standards among Ukrainian SMEs" by the All-Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) emerged victorious at the national level in category 4, "Improving the Business Environment and Supporting the Internationalization of Business," at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards. This competition, organized by the European Commission, also acknowledged UNIC's efforts on the European stage.

On November 3, UNIC, in partnership with the Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the second regional business event in Lutsk this season as part of the series "Transparent Business and Reconstruction of Ukraine: Are There Chances for Scaling During Wartime." The event received support from UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan.

On October 30th, the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Network with new members took place. Among the various matters discussed, the members of the UNIC Executive Committee addressed the issue of leadership within the Network and voted in favor of electing Gleb Bakalov as the Chairman of the Committee.

On October 20, in partnership with UCU Business School, UNIC organized the first regional in-person business event in Lviv titled "Transparent Business and Ukraine's Reconstruction: Opportunities for Scaling During Wartime." The event was supported by UNDP in Ukraine and funded by the Government of Japan.

Despite the numerous challenges and risks faced by Ukraine's private sector due to the ongoing conflict, the private sector plays a crucial role in the country's reconstruction, especially at the regional level.

UNIC is pleased to announce a call for applications from individuals interested in becoming members of the UNIC Ethics Committee. As the term of office for the current members of the Integrity Committee is set to conclude at the end of October, seven positions within the Committee will become available.

On October 10, the Extraordinary General Meeting of UNIC Participants took place, during which the Network Strategy for 2024-2025 was approved and six new members of the Executive Committee were elected.
