UNIC opens call for applications from candidates to the Executive Committee
There is one vacant position on the UNIC Executive Committee for external experts, to which international organisations, international technical assistance projects operating in Ukraine, and other reputable non-governmental organisations can delegate their representatives.
The main requirements for candidates to the Executive Committee, in addition to experience, include an impeccable business reputation, high professional and moral qualities, and public authority. It is also important to have full support and understanding of the principles of integrity and business ethics, awareness of UNIC's activities in previous years, and a vision of their own involvement in the work and prospects for the development of the Network.
If you are interested, please send the UNIC Secretariat an application from your organisation with the following attachments:
- Resume of the candidate, including information on the candidate's demonstrable significant experience in the field of preventing and/or combating corruption and/or business integrity;
- Motivation letter with information on the main potential plans for the candidate's implementation in the UNIC activities in the near future and a description of his/her vision of community development.
The Secretariat will accept applications to the email address info@unic.org.ua by the end of the working day on 10 May 2024, subject line - External candidate for the EC. Following the collection of applications, the Secretariat will organise a background check on each candidate using open information sources for the last two (2) years.
A new member of the Executive Committee will be elected by voting at the UNIC Annual General Meeting in May this year. The term of office of the committee member is three years from the date of election.
