UNIC has extended the selection process for a Legal Advisor to provide expert and advocacy support to UNIC’s GR direction on reforming corporate liability until January 31, 2025.

The All-Ukrainian Network for Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) has launched the project “Business Integrity as a Basis for Sustainable Recovery”. The project is being implemented with the support of USAID and UK International Development within the framework of the “Promoting Integrity in the Public Sector” (Pro-Integrity) initiative.

On December 17, 2024, UNIC Anti-Corruption Day was held in Kyiv—a large-scale event organized by the All-Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC). The event brought together leading experts, business representatives, government agencies, and international organizations to discuss key aspects of forming a sustainable reputation for business and the state in the context of Ukraine's European integration.

The Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) co-organized the consultative seminar "On the Path to Integrity in Business Operations," held on December 18 in Kyiv.

During the second day of the Business Integrity Group (BIG) Meeting organized by the OECD, representatives of the UNIC Secretariat facilitated the session "The Role of Collective Action Initiatives, Businesses, and Business Associations in Promoting a Culture of Business Integrity." The session served as a platform for an interactive discussion of challenges and solutions aimed at building an effective dialogue between businesses and authorities.

The Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) announces the selection of a Legal Adviser to provide expert and advocacy support for UNIC's GR activities in the area of reforming the liability of legal persons. This initiative aims to align Ukraine's legal framework with OECD standards and best international practices in this field and is implemented as part of the project “Business Integrity as a Foundation for Sound Recovery.”

Fundamental rights, the rule of law, and the fight against corruption are not just words voiced at Ukraine’s negotiations with the European Union. They are real challenges that must be addressed today. One such challenge is the liability of legal entities for corruption offenses. Draft law No. 11443, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada as a basis, can either become an important step forward, or it may turn into a “framework” law that changes nothing in practice, adopted solely to continue negotiations on membership in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the EU. So, are we truly ready to change the rules and fight internal corruption?
