International Conference “Integrity Matters”
We invite you to the International Conference “Integrity Matters” – a key event of UNIC’s Business Integrity Month, which will take place on 27 May in Kyiv.
Why do some companies gain the trust of international partners and access to investment, whilst others do not? And what role do integrity, compliance and reputation play in this today?
This is precisely what we will be discussing at the International Conference “Integrity Matters”, which will bring together representatives from the public sector, business leaders, international organisations and the expert community.
The conference programme includes:
- A government panel entitled ‘Ukraine in an international context’, focusing on anti-corruption policy, the rule of law, international expectations and the role of state institutions in the process of European integration;
- An investment panel, ‘Integrity as a Factor in Investment’ – a discussion among international financial institutions and investors on how companies’ reputations and integrity affect access to finance;
- CEO Talks: “Business and the State: New Rules of Accountability” – a frank discussion among Ukrainian and international business leaders on the role of integrity, compliance, anti-corruption initiatives and reforms in shaping a transparent business environment and building trust in Ukraine.
Guest speakers include representatives from the Office of the President of Ukraine, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAZK), the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the OECD, the EBRD, Swedfund and other international financial institutions, as well as leading experts and business leaders from companies such as VKURSI, Servier Ukraine, International Medical Corps, SPP Development Ukraine, Aurora Multimarket and others.
Conference participants will gain:
- up-to-date information on international and Ukrainian trends in compliance and anti-corruption policy;
- practical insights from government bodies, international financial institutions and the business sector;
- the opportunity to discuss industry challenges directly with key stakeholders;

The event is taking place as part of the project “Public Oversight and Integrity for Ukraine’s Sustainability and Recovery”, implemented by Transparency International Ukraine with financial support from Norway and the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) — a leading EU-funded anti-corruption programme in Ukraine, co-funded and implemented by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
