We are excited to share with you new opportunities for financial support and business education. This week, we encourage entrepreneurs to take note of the following initiatives.
Financial Support
750 entrepreneurs will receive grants of up to 4,000 euros from EU4Business
A new round of EU4Business grants for microbusinesses has been launched, funded by the European Union and the German government in the amount of 3 million euros. The main goal of the grants is to support the recovery of entrepreneurial activity in the areas of Ukraine that have been most affected by hostilities and were occupied, as well as to strengthen the resilience of microbusinesses in other regions of Ukraine amid the ongoing war.
Application deadline: September 4, 2023, and September 18, 2023.

10,000-Euro Grant to Support Energy Modernization of Enterprises During Wartime
The NGO “International Development Foundation” announces the launch of a grant competition to support enterprises in implementing energy efficiency measures as part of the project “Supporting Energy Modernization of Enterprises During Wartime.” The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of industrial enterprises and businesses affected by military operations through capacity-building activities, rapid energy audits, and the provision of mini-grants to implement energy-efficiency measures.

Recruitment has begun for companies in the organic sector to participate in the BIOFACH 2024 exhibition
We invite Ukrainian exporters of organic products to participate in the National Pavilion of Ukraine at BIOFACH 2024, a leading international organic food trade show, which will take place February 13–16, 2024.

Grant Competition to Enhance the Economic Resilience of Women Affected by War
A grant competition aimed at enhancing the economic resilience of women affected by war is launching in Zaporizhzhia. The grant program is being implemented as part of the project “Strengthening the Gender Response and Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls in the Humanitarian and Refugee Crisis in Ukraine,” which is being carried out in the Zaporizhzhia region by UN Women in Ukraine in partnership with the civil society organization “UkrProstir,” with financial support from the Government of Japan.

Grant Assistance for Entrepreneurs to Restore and Support Economic Development in Affected Areas of the Mykolaiv Region
The international organization Save the Children, in collaboration with the Center for Business Support and Economic Development, has announced a grant program to support recovery and economic development in affected areas of Mykolaiv Oblast. Grants amount to $2,500.

Education
How to Scale and Rebuild a Business: A Free Course for Entrepreneurs
Synergy Development Consulting, with support from the USAID “Economic Support to Ukraine” Project, is launching the Impactpreneurship training course for small and medium-sized business owners. During the course, participants will deepen their knowledge of entrepreneurship and have the opportunity to secure funding.

School of Digital Business: Join the training course from Genesis and the Kyiv School of Economics
On October 9, 2023, School of Digital Business 2.0 will launch—a course from the co-founding IT company Genesis and the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) on creating and promoting IT products. Participants will immerse themselves in the field of IT product development and master tools for validating ideas and building profitable business models. The program will combine academic education with business expertise. Speakers will include executives from companies within the Genesis ecosystem—global leaders in their respective niches—as well as PhD graduates from the world’s top universities.

Training Course for Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs in the EU
The EU4Business program invites 20 young Ukrainian small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to participate in a two-week on-the-job training course at a company in a European Union country in the fall of 2023.
